Keith Sinclair writes NMIS, an open-source network management tool.
2004
FirstWave founded in Sydney
One of Australia's earliest cloud security companies, built on a long Telstra partnership.
2010
Opmantek launches on the Gold Coast
Danny Maher and Keith Sinclair commercialise NMIS, keeping the core free with paid modules on top. Over the following years the model spreads to organisations in 178 countries, including Microsoft and NASA.

FirstWave lists on the ASX
FirstWave begins trading on the Australian Securities Exchange as FCT.

FirstWave acquires Opmantek
A ~A$62m all-scrip deal completes; Danny Maher becomes CEO and the headquarters consolidates on the Gold Coast.
