Macquarie Cloud Services Strikes 5-Year Network Intelligence Deal with FirstWave

Macquarie Cloud Services, part of the Macquarie Telecom Group (ASX:MAQ), has committed to a 5-year agreement with FirstWave Cloud Technology (ASX:FCT) for network monitoring and intelligence software services.

Strategic Objectives

The FirstWave solution will enable Macquarie Cloud Services to achieve their "Manager of Managers" vision -- a single consolidated view of critical systems. This integration will consolidate management across network infrastructure and tools, centralizing visibility to improve efficiency and operational control.

Technology Foundation

The solution leverages software from Opmantek Limited, a wholly owned FirstWave subsidiary since January 2022. These network monitoring systems serve major organizations including Microsoft, Telmex, and NASA.

Executive Commentary

FirstWave CEO Danny Maher stated the deal validates their "strategy to focus on helping service providers and telcos succeed."

James Mystakidis, Group Executive at Macquarie Cloud Services, noted they selected FirstWave "following a rigorous evaluation process" and expect improved network management efficiency and customer outcomes.
