FirstWave is continuing to ramp up its global sales and marketing initiatives with the appointment of new business development executives on three different continents. Patrick Dobry has been appointed as an Enterprise Account Executive based in Austin, Texas, Paola Khnanisho has been appointed as a Cyber Security Sales Executive embedded within Telstra in Sydney, and Hector Vadillo has been appointed as an Account Manager in Mexico working on Latin American opportunities.
Mr Dobry rejoins the FirstWave team after previously working for Opmantek, the network management software company acquired by FirstWave in early 2022. Mr Dobry was very highly regarded by the Opmantek team and FirstWave management are thrilled to have him back.
Ms Khnanisho joins FirstWave from mobile messaging technology company Soprano Design where she worked closely with network carriers and enterprise customers. As an embedded account manager with Telstra, she will drive FirstWave’s long-standing relationship with the company and support its increased focus on cybersecurity offerings.
Mr Vadillo has been appointed to provide additional support in managing FirstWave’s clients in Latin America and helping to secure new clients in the telecommunications sector.
FirstWave Chief Executive Officer Danny Maher said the appointments aligned with the company’s strategy to target Service Providers and large enterprises in major growth markets.
“We see a range of opportunities to grow awareness and sales for our network management and cybersecurity platforms and it is important we have the right people in each of our target markets to maximize those opportunities,” he said.
“Each of the new appointments have strong experience working with large enterprise clients and strong domain knowledge within our technology sectors which will be invaluable as we continue to expand our reach.”
