FirstWave, the global cybersecurity and network management software company, announced today it has been awarded as a “Hot Vendor” by Aragon Research, Inc in a new cybersecurity report.

Being recognised as a “Hot Vendor” confirms FirstWave’s growing reputation in the global Cybersecurity industry.

FirstWave offers a suite of products focused on cybersecurity – in particular cloud delivered email, web and vitrualised firewall security – along with network discovery, audit, configuration and management. This combination of tools enables enterprises and managed service providers (MSP) to manage and secure digital infrastructure and end-user activities in an easy and highly automated manner.

“What makes FirstWave hot is its ability to provide a platform for deploying multi-vendor best-of-breed cybersecurity solutions while removing the complexity of deploying and configuring each offering independently,” said Craig Kennedy, Senior Director of Research at Aragon Research. “CyberCision removes the complexity of deploying and managing disparate cybersecurity tools through consolidated orchestration, all within a single pane of glass.”

Naming FirstWave as a “Hot Vendor” comes ahead of Aragon Research’s Transform 2022 awards ceremony to be held in San Francisco, California on 8th December.

FirstWave CEO Danny Maher said “inclusion in the ‘Hot Vendor’ report by Aragon Research reflects FirstWave’s long term commitment to innovation and success. Cybersecurity software must be constantly updated to remain effective and cloud-based delivery is the best and most cost-effective way for organisations of all sizes to maintain protection with the latest technologies.”

FirstWave’s cybersecurity software, CyberCision™, is a cybersecurity-as-a-service (CSaaS) platform that delivers the latest technologies for email, web, firewall, and advanced detection and response (ADR) solutions.

CyberCision™ is operated by service providers around the world as a cloud-based cybersecurity service, enabling their clients to obtain access to enterprise grade cybersecurity services without having anything to deploy and removing the complexity of implementation and management. It includes advanced detection and response mechanisms and a mobile app providing real-time monitoring and alerting of cybersecurity incidents as well as access to historical reporting.

The report by Aragon Research said cybersecurity attacks were at an all-time high with technology providers racing to offer tools to stay one step ahead of cybercriminals.

“Enterprises and government organizations are being targeted and the challenge today is how to address the sheer volume and sophistication of these cyber-attacks given the unprepared state of many organizations to deal with them,” the report said.
